Eye Examination
Comprehensive NHS and private eye tests for the whole family, carried out by our qualified optometrists.
A thorough eye examination is about much more than checking whether you need glasses. Our qualified optometrists conduct a full assessment of your eye health and vision.
**What's included:** - Visual acuity test - Retinal health check - Intraocular pressure measurement - Assessment for conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration - Spectacle or contact lens prescription (if required)
**NHS sight tests** are available free of charge if you are eligible (see below). Private sight tests are also available.
**NHS eligibility includes:** - Children under 16 (or under 19 in full-time education) - Adults aged 60 or over - People with diabetes or glaucoma, or who are at risk of glaucoma - People registered as partially sighted or blind - People receiving certain means-tested benefits - Adult dependants of someone with glaucoma (if referred by an ophthalmologist)
We recommend a routine eye examination every two years for most adults, or annually if advised by your optometrist.

Free NHS sight tests are available for eligible patients including children, those aged 60+, diabetics, and those with or at risk of glaucoma. Ask our team if you qualify.
